New Automated Pet Feeder
Automated
feeder revolutionizes the way pets are fed and cared for while pet parents are
away
MARINA
DEL REY, Calif. (Oct. 07, 2013) – More than 99 percent of pet parents
consider their pets to be family members, so it’s no surprise that they’re
constantly worried about their pets’ wellbeing when they’re away from home. One
company is now employing innovative technology to help pet parents gain some
peace of mind while on the go.
Today, Feed
and Go
announced the launch of its revolutionary automated pet feeder and online
website portal. Unlike other automated feeders, Feed and Go provides pet parents
with complete, remote control over their pets’ feeding and medication schedules
and is the world’s first automated feeder to include a live webcam, enabling pet
owners to check in on their pet at anytime from anywhere.
“Feed and Go
understands that a pet parent’s No. 1 priority is ensuring their pets are happy
and healthy while they’re away,” said Marissa McDaniel, CEO of Feed and Go. “Through
the use of advanced technology, we’re able to not only help pet parents keep
their pets on their normal routines, but also keep them intimately connected to
their furry family members while away from home.”
Feed and Go’s
automated pet feeder connects via Wi-Fi and can be controlled through any computer, tablet or smartphone, as well as a
convenient iOS and Android app for mobile programming and webcam streaming. Pet
parents can choose to receive notifications to themselves and multiple others via SMS or email
each time the feeder dispenses food or medication. In addition to the live
webcam, Feed and Go’s automated pet feeder also includes a built-in voice
recording system so pet parents can call their pet over
to the bowl at any time.
Feed and Go’s automated pet feeder can be used with
both wet and dry food and features six, 8 oz. cup size feeding trays that when
not on display are kept airtight to keep food and any medications fresh until
dispensed to the pet. The automated feeder is made of polypropylene plastic so
it won’t irritate a pet’s skin and is also dishwasher safe.
Feed and Go allows pet parents to set one-off feeds
or a recurring feeding schedule, or a combination of both, and for those lucky
enough to be parents to more than one pet, the Feed and Go customer console
allows for multiple pet feeders to be controlled from one login.
The company is
currently accepting pre-orders on its website with a special
discount of 20 percent or more (purchasing multiple units results in a deeper
discount). Pricing is varied to include web access to the Feed and Go online
portal or via a monthly payment along with the purchase of the unit.
