Hello Baby ~ Vulli Sophie The Giraffe ~ Review

It was my pleasure to do a review for Hello Baby of Vulli Sophie The Giraffe. I have a 10 month old teething baby boy and thought this would be great for him and guess what, he LOVES it! Not only is it made of natural rubber and non-toxic paint, but she squeaks as well. My son is so amused and laughs every time she squeaks. I love that the Sophie squeaks easily enough that when he grabs it she squeaks. I have not seen any other teething toys that squeak this easily and that is definitely entertaining for the young ones. 

As soon as I got Sophie out of the package my son started chewing on her right away. Several weeks later this is still a favorite toy of his, we take it everywhere with us.

Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns About Sportsmanship: Winning Isn't Everything

 I received this book for review and have to say my 5 year old daughter was so excited when we got it, just look at her smile below :) She loves books, even though she cannot read yet. Every time we get one in the mail we have to sit down immediately and read it. So that is what we did. 

I read the book through once to her and then asked her what it was about. She was not sure because she usually is just looking at all of the awesome photos in the book. The illustrations in this book were great so that of course caught her attention more than the story. So I read it a second time to her and asked her to pay attention to the what the story was about. After the second time she was able to tell me it was about a guy (Howard) that played soccer. She also told me he did not like losing and that he liked trophies. So, all in all I think she got the point of it. I am sure if we read it a few more times she will get a better grasp of it. 

This is a photo of her favorite page. She loved all of the kids happy and helping each other out.

I think this a great read for kids, especially those ages 5-9 when they are learning what sportsmanship is all about. I will definitely bring this book with me into my classroom.
